In Sweden we have a soda (julmust) that contains 0.3% alcohol. The soda contains alcohol because it has sap in it and it is a part of its manufacturing process. The purpose of the soda is not to drink it to get tipsy, it is impossible to drink it and get tipsy. The soda is even served to kids during christmas and anyone at any age can buy it from the store. The question is, is it halal for us Muslims to drink it or is it haram?
